This album highlights a brief moment in mid 2016 where Alec, Aaron, and Eliot were playing a lot together and exploring the idea of poetry as an active voice in an improvised setting. It is very lucky that it was caught on record, so many of these little blossoms of ideas tend to exist for a few months and then disappear.
